Getting Started Guide: SunuProbe
Network security audit - set up your environment and launch your first scan.
SunuProbe is your expert solution dedicated to security auditing for your internal network infrastructure. Available to all accounts, on any plan — paid per mission.
Getting a mission
Two ways to get a SunuProbe mission, open to every account:
- Self-service request: on SunuProbe, describe your need (network size, number of sites) — the price shows instantly (65,000 FCFA / ≈€100 up to 50 hosts, 200,000 FCFA / ≈€305 for 50-250, 500,000 FCFA / ≈€763 for 250-1000, +20,000 FCFA / ≈€31 per additional site, custom quote beyond 1000 hosts) — the euro figure is only used for PayPal, FCFA stays the reference currency. Pay via Kkiapay, Orange Money, or PayPal right on the page. An auditor then opens a conversation in your Support space to scope the mission precisely (exact network range) before creating your access.
- Directly assigned mission: your SunuCyberSecurity auditor can also create a mission for you without this step — you receive a notification email.
Either way, once the mission is created, your connection token and download links appear on SunuProbe.
Download your agent
On the SunuProbe page, expand your mission and download the agent matching your system:
- Windows - for the vast majority of enterprise machines
- Linux - for servers
Always download a fresh copy from this page for each new mission: the agent regularly receives new features and security fixes. A copy already sitting on your machine may be outdated.
Security warnings (this is normal!)
This is expected - the executable is not yet digitally signed (like most professional pentest tools). Two screens may appear:
Click the arrow next to the downloaded file, then "Keep" or "Download anyway".
Click "More info", then "Run anyway".
Authentication: paste your token
Your unique connection token is already generated and waiting for you on SunuProbe, hidden for security - reveal it then copy it in one click.
This token is confidential: it grants access to your authorized network. Never share it.
Launch the downloaded agent. A black window (terminal) opens with this message:

Paste the mission token provided by your auditor: _
Paste your token (Ctrl+V), then press Enter.
Verify the connection
If everything works, the terminal displays:
Important: leave this window open for the entire duration of the audit. Closing it will cut the connection.
Launching the scan
Go back to SunuProbe. Your mission now shows the status Probe connected.
- Scope selection: define the IP range or single host to audit.
- Analysis type: Quick or full scan (single IP), Network discovery (CIDR range, automatic device identification), Full LAN scan (discovery + vulnerabilities + IoT), Internal web scan, Full campaign (several scans chained together), Active Directory audit (with a dedicated LDAP service account), SunuConfig Audit (Cisco/Huawei/Fortinet/Mikrotik/Juniper network equipment via SSH), or Linux audit (SSH, read-only).
- Results: view your reports with PDF export, ranked by severity score.

SunuProbe combines several audit engines (network, web, device discovery) into a single internally installed probe - a capability that classic cloud scanners do not have, since they cannot reach your strictly internal applications.
Each scan type uses its own dedicated engine: the internal web scan correlates detected technologies against the OSV.dev CVE database, network scans identify vulnerable services and versions, and the Active Directory and SunuConfig audits check for hardening errors (accounts, passwords, exposed services, insecure configurations) specific to the equipment type.
