Methodology

134 distinct African targets analyzed via the SunuCyberSecurity platform, 39 of which received an in-depth TLS analysis (SSLyze/NetSec). Each target's grade combines its available real signals (certificate validity, TLS 1.3 support, Forward Secrecy, HSTS, Heartbleed resistance): A = all positive, B = ≥75%, C = ≥50%, D = <50%. The number of targets tested varies by metric, as not every scanner covers every target. Data is strictly aggregated — no organization is individually identified.
